KI6LO's APRS stations location links (via FINDU.COM)

The KI6LO-9 APRS mobile station consists of a Yaesu FT-1500M 2M mobile xvcr, TinyTrak III APRS/GPS encoder, DeLorme TripMate GPS (the older yellow cased version modified for non-computer self-start operation and powered by 12V) and a Comet SBB-25 2M monobander mobile antenna. Click on this link (KI6LO-9) to see the current mobile location (within the last 10 days).

There are several methods on the Internet on how to do the TripMate modification. The trouble you may have is locating a working Tripmate.

The KI6LO-10 fixed APRS station consists of another Yaesu FT-1500M, a Kantronics KPC-3 TNC, HP620LX Windows CE handheld PC running APRS/CE software and a 2M colinear vertical antenna at 30 feet. The GPS location is entered into the APRS/CE software as a fixed value since the station doesn't move. Click on this link (
KI6LO-10) to see the fixed relay station location and information.
